CURRENT PROJECTS
* Scheig Center - Memorial Park, Appleton, WI - Devote one monthly meeting to assist with garden maintenance.
* Club Plant Sales - We sell plants to raise monies to support the Club's activities, projects, and scholarships. This event is typically held in the month of May.
* Marigold Mile, Appleton, WI - Club members help that Foundation plant marigolds along S. Oneida Street.
* Paper Valley Garden Club/Sadie Root Memorial Scholarships - Awarded to a student(s) at Fox Valley Technical College who is enrolled in a natural resources, landscape design, or horticulture degree program.
* Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Scholarship - We provide funds to the state scholarship program; and these scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in horticulture, landscape design, or environmental sciences degree programs.
* Public Gardens – Financial support.
PAST PROJECTS
* Einstein Middle School Global Gardens, Appleton, WI - We helped to maintain their beauty.
* Bergstrom Mahler Museum of Glass, Neenah, WI - We created pots to adorn the entrance and built the permanent planter with glass accents at its entrance.
* Homeless Connections Garden Walk (formerly the Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley Garden Walk). We produced a horticulture and floral exhibit/show which was a judged competition held in conjunction with this regional July garden walk. The show/exhibit included horticultural specimens, floral designs, educational displays, and garden photography.
* Wisconsin Avenue Beautification Project, Appleton, WI – We assisted with plant selections in the street side garden planters.
* Garden of the Month Award - We selected gardens within the Fox Cities region and provided a $25 reward and a sign to display in their yard.
* Appleton Public Library - Appleton, WI, June Gardening Month Displays
