Projects

Club Projects & Financially Supported Activities:

* Paper Valley Garden Club/Sadie Root Memorial Scholarship -- Awarded to a student at Fox Valley Technical College who is enrolled in a natural resources, landscape design, or horticulture degree program.

* Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Scholarship -- We provide funds to the state scholarship program; and these scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in horticulture, landscape design, or environmental sciences degree programs.

* Einstein Middle School Global Gardens, Appleton, WI -- We help to maintain their beauty.

* Garden of the Month Award
  -- Given to selected gardens within the Fox Cities region.

​* Club Plant Sales  -- We sell plants to raise monies to support the Club's activities, projects, and scholarships. This event is typically held in the month of May.

* Homeless Connections Garden Walk (formerly the Emergency Shelter of the Fox Valley Garden Walk) -- We produce a horticulture and floral exhibit/show which is a judged competition that is held in conjunction with this regional garden walk.  The garden walk is generally scheduled in mid-July. The show/exhibit may include horticultural specimens, floral designs, educational displays, and garden photography.   

* Wisconsin Avenue Beautification Project (Appleton, 2014 & 2015) - Assisted with plant selections in the street side garden planters.
